

RPM Energy Solutions LLC provides an array of energy conservation services and solutions. Our goal is to help you reduce your energy consumption, save money, and create a more comfortable home, all while helping the greater environment.
RPM is headed up by Robert Matto, an energy conservation expert and certified HERS Rater (Home Energy Rating Specialist). Robert was the senior program coordinator for the Energy Star Home Program in the State of Connecticut for nearly a decade. During that time Robert assisted hundreds of builders and homeowners achieve new levels of energy efficient design and construction. In addition, Robert has tested and certified over 5,000 homes to Energy Star standards as a sub-contractor for UI, CL&P, Northeast Utilities, Government Military Housing, HUD and other Government Agencies. He has assisted thousands of homeowners, builders, and contractors to obtain significant rebates from the CT Energy Efficient Fund to help implement energy efficient upgrades. Robert is an active lobbyist for energy conservation, helping educate our legislators so that they can make informed policy decisions. He has also been a sought after speaker at numerous conservation seminars and a featured guest on public broadcasting.
Through RPM, Robert assists homeowners and builders implement energy efficient construction and upgrades, whether the home is in design phase or is decades old.
Robert Matto is a certified HERS Rater, certified QA Designee/supervisor trainer for Northeast Energy Doctors, certified Green Professional, certified Green Rater, certified Sustainable Building Advisor, BPI certified building analyst and thermal envelope and will soon be a BPI accredited contrator, RESNET accredited contrator, BBB certified, and a HBA Member. Robert Matto has recently received a cetificate of knowledge from Gateway Community College for Solar Thermal and PV (photovoltaic)installation and Solar Thermal and PV sales and marketing.





Michelina Docimo, CSBA, is a certified sustainable building advisor with ten years experience in environmental industries, including landscape architecture and green architecture. Michelina attended the University of Connecticut and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Agriculture and Natural Resources with a concentration in landscape architecture and a Bachelors of Arts in English literature. She is also a CT Master Gardener.
Michelina provides writing and consulting services including:
- Comparative Energy Analysis Reports. Working with partner, RPM Energy Solutions, who are BPI and RESNET certified energy raters, these marketing reports show energy and cost savings associated with energy efficient homes compared to a home built to meet minimum code compliance.
- Creative and technical writing, specifically for industries and entrepreneurs focused on a sustainable path. Writing includes marketing and web content, bios, brochures, manuals, mission statements, and more.
- Business development through sustainability program implementation.
- Site analysis of cultural, historical, regional, economic, and natural resources and data.
- Coordination of eco-design charette sessions.
- Project management in green renovations and new construction, with a special focus on site, deconstruction and environmental demolition strategies, sustainable landscaping, material selection, and water and energy conservation.

Vincent Castellon has been in the energy conservation industry for 10 years. In 2007, Vincent became a HERS Rater and along with that he has rated over 1,000 homes. In 2009 he became a Building Performance Analyst and has been weatherizing existing homes for about two years; recently Vincent became a lead renovator. His experience in the construction field spans a decade and encompasses weatherization, home improvement, electrical, air sealing, new home construction, lead abatement, and home energy conservation. Vinnie has always displayed a dedicated interest in the home energy conservation field and constantly pursues continuing education.

Laurence Dortenzio, also known as Larry, built the RPM Energy Solutions website. Larry is a web designer who also does video and graphic design along with fixing computers. Larry may soon be offering IT Security Auditing. Larry recently graduated Notre Dame High School in West Haven, CT. He will be attending Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, CT.
